KUALA LUMPUR (March 2): Tan Ching Ling has emerged as a substantial shareholder in ES Ceramics Technology Bhd after acquiring 9.65 million shares or a 5.07% stake in the company.
According to a filing with the exchange, Tan acquired the shares of the former ceramic dipping manufacturer from the open market on February 24, 2015.
However, the transaction price for the shares was not disclosed.
Tan had previously ceased to be a substantial holder of ES Ceramics (fundamental: 3; valuation: 1.8) after disposing some 9.19 million shares on Nov 13, 2014.
ES Ceramics closed up 0.5 sen, or 2.1%, for a market capitalisation of RM45.7 million.
