KUALA LUMPUR: JF Apex Research expects Willowglen, Sona Petroleum, Genting Bhd, Pharmaniaga, Evergreen Fibreboard, Censoft, 7-Eleven, SKP Resources and IOI Properties to see trading interest on Monday.
Willowglen clinched a RM14.2mil contract from Singapore utility firm to install a security system.
The research house said as for Sona Petroleum, the group’s bid to buy its first qualified asset (QA) since its listing about 15 months ago looks to be derailed by British oil and gas explorer Ophir Energy Plc based on a media report.
JF Apex Research also expects Genting Bhd, Pharmaniaga, Evergreen Fibreboard, Censoft, 7-Eleven, SKP Resources and IOI Properties to attract attention following the quarterly results announcements.
On Wall Street, US stocks ended the week at highs as markets rallied on overseas central banks' stimulus efforts and an encouraging domestic outlook.
At Bursa Malaysia, the FBM KLCI slumped 13.16 points to close at 1,809.13.
“Following the optimism in global markets, the KLCI could rebound from its decline last week but it would need a greater catalyst to test its resistance of 1,830,” it said.
