KUALA LUMPUR: JF Apex Research expects Yinson, Malaysia Airports (MAHB), Pantech, DKLS and WCT to see trading interest on Tuesday.

It said Yinson’s contract was extended by one year worth RM127mil for the charter of its FPSO vessel.

MAHB plans to acquire the remaining 40% stake in Istanbul’s second biggest airport in order to gain full control.

As for Pantech, the group has secured a supply package in RAPID project with an undisclosed contract amount.

The research house said DKLS has signed a MoU to dispose its 30% stake in hydropower plant in China with an indicative value of RM258mil.

High-5 will be de-listed on Oct 24 after its proposed regularisation plan was rejected by Bursa Malaysia Securities.

WCT has bought 221 acres in Serendah for a mixed commercial development.

As for DiGi, the group recorded better-then-expected 3Q results on the back of higher internet and data revenue.

Overnight on Wall Street, the S&P 500 recorded its longest winning run in a month, as expectations for Apple's quarterly results outdid disappointment that came with a reduced outlook from International Business Machines.

At Bursa Malaysia, the FBM KLCI rose 14.83 points to 1,803.14.

“Focus in Asia will fall on a raft of Chinese data, including third-quarter gross domestic product (GDP), industrial output, fixed asset investment and retail sales for September. We expect the KLCI to hover above 1,800,”  it said. - The star
